St Nicolas de Bourgueil

Domaine La Chevalerie

One town, one appellation. Here, it is suggested that the Romans introduced the cultivation of grapes. And there is evidence that this is the Abbey of Bourgueil, which established the practice of wine making.

The Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil is distinguished by the nature of its soils consisting mainly of old alluvium whose depths harbor sands and gravels. The northern part of the vineyard is located on a hillside covered with limestone sand.

The result is a wine whose identity is recognizable by its floral notes and a flexible and enjoyable body.
